Fontaine Bros. Breaks Ground on School of Pharmacy
Fontaine Bros. is currently working as the Construction Manager on the New Pharmacy School at Western New England College. Work commenced in August of 2009 and the building will open in January of 2011. When completed, the 125,000 square foot building will house state of the art laboratories and classrooms for students in WNEC’s pharmacy, biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology programs. Additionally, the building will house offices for faculty and the College’s Health Services facilities. Tessier Associates of Springfield is the architect on the project, and the design incorporates many “green building” elements to minimize the structure’s impact on the environment.
